This archive is maintained as a digital repository for the preservation of Scottish Highland dancing heritage and technical documentation. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are advised to discontinue use of the archival records.
Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise stated, all technical instructional notes, transcribed scoring aggregate sheets, and original historical narratives provided on this site are the intellectual property of the Inver Glen Archive or our community contributors. These materials are protected by cultural heritage preservation laws and international copyright standards. You may access our database for personal, educational, or genealogical research purposes. However, the systematic duplication, "re-packaging" for commercial digital platforms, or bulk scraping of our historical data is strictly prohibited without express written consent from our technical committee.
User Conduct & Data Integrity
Users are expected to utilize this archive in a manner that respects the historical and cultural sensitivity of the Highland tradition. While we encourage the dissemination of technical knowledge, users must provide proper citation to the Inver Glen Archive when referencing our digitized records in external academic or cultural publications. The archival materials provided on this site represent a historical record. While we strive for absolute accuracy in our digitization process, the Inver Glen Archive is not liable for any discrepancies found in old competition ledgers or for any physical injury resulting from the unsupervised practice of the historical dance techniques documented herein. Access to the archive is provided on an "as is" basis.
